A reasonable definition for a cadet is: one who is being trained to a position of leadership in a branch of the military, one who is to become an officer. Here at ICBCA we believe we are training those who will be leaders in the Lord's army, and we are equipping them for the tasks that lay before them. As you look over this site you will be greeted by pledges, or promises, that each student takes as their own. A standard is raised that will help them in whatever the future holds for them, whether in ministry or in secular life. We want to equip as many young people as possible for the future, and everything we do is focused to that end.

A B C's of a Cadet:
Luke 2:52 states, "And Jesus increased in wisdom, and stature, and in favor with God and man." Jesus Christ has provided us with an excellent example of how to grow. Here are some of the values that Inner City Baptist Academy will endeavor to display and teach your cadets.
- Spiritually: "Let the Word of God dwell in you richly" (Colossians 3:16)
- To obtain a personal relationship with Jesus Christ through salvation
- To develop a well balanced and Christ-like personality
- To give knowledge, love, and understanding of the Bible
- Mentally: "Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 2:5)
- To develop a positive attitude in the reactions of life
- To cultivate analytical thinking and a priority directed life
- To impart a command of common knowledge and skills
- Physically: "Present your bodies a living sacrifice…unto God" (Romans 12:1)
- To develop a respect for the body as the temple of the Holy Spirit
- To teach intelligent care of the body
- To encourage physical strengthening of the body God has given
- To endeavor to use the spirit-filled body to accomplish spiritual ends
School Philosophy:
One of the basic reasons why parents enroll their children in Christian school is to obtain an education grounded in moral values. Our school uses Biblically-based Accelerated Christian Education curriculum (ACE), which includes memory passages and references to God and Jesus Christ - all designed to help students develop moral character, a sense of accountability, and wisdom in their lives. Standards of personal conduct, school policies, and curriculum continue to build the students' sense of responsibility and integrity.
The first day of school is September 8th 2009!
